The Finance Department is organized into four areas, each of which provides support services to the City’s operating departments.  The Finance Department’s foremost responsibility is to conduct the fiscal affairs of the City in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and sound business practices.  The Finance Department diligently safeguards the resources of the City and ensures that prudent fiscal management policies are maintained.
